Terma is a rapidly growing Danish high-tech aerospace, defence, and security supplier with close to 1500 employees and operations in 16 locations in 9 countries on 3 continents. DinERP will supply a new product, Project Resource Management. The planned delivery is mid-2018, and the contract is for a five-year binding subscription.

Project Resource Management enables companies to manage complex resource management situations, such as large projects, in a controlled, efficient and traceable manner. It will support companies in replacing obsolete methods based on spreadsheets and individual knowledge, with process oriented resource management based upon required competencies and their availability.

At the same time, the product will enable online interaction between project managers and resource owners to ensure optimal resource utilisation. Project managers and resource owners will be supported by the combination of down-to-the-hour resource and competence availability with long-term planning and management tools, with the flexibility to manage resources in an agile, dynamic environment. The product also enables the management of resources across different locations and across different IFS instances, with strict security requirements.

“We are excited to have found a great solution to our challenging requirements through DinERP’s products”, commented Jens Drejer Husted, Vice President, Supply Chain & Procurement at Terma.

Jørgen Eskildsen, Vice President, IT at Terma added, “Throughout the process, DinERP demonstrated a superior understanding of our business and its systems, as well as a strong product portfolio. This product will make an important contribution to our digital transformation journey and enables us to extend our use of IFS Applications® even further.”

Lars Morten Nygaard CEO of DinERP commented: “Terma is an impressive business that delivers mission critical solutions within aerospace, defence, and security to protect people and their assets. We are excited to be working with Terma and their decision to work with us is a great endorsement of our commitment to security in the products we deliver..”

He continued, “The contract was won against three best-of-breed competitors. DinERP’s competence and expertise in IFS, alongside our ability to understand and support Terma’s requirements, means Terma can now extend their use of IFS, which offers huge operational benefits.”
